The COVID-19 crisis has caused telehealth visits to skyrocket over the past 6 months. It is no longer enough for telehealth networks to connect hospitals and clinics - consumers need telehealth connections at home as well.  This raises the question whether our nation's telehealth networks are capable of handling this extraordinary surge in demand. President Trump issued an Executive Order on August 3 directing the government to improve the physical telehealth networks to address rural American's health needs during this crisis. These panelists will discuss how they are using broadband networks to implement successful remote and interactive healthcare solutions and what measures the government should take to promote telemedicine in both urban and rural markets.
